Occasionally in life, one encounters people that you admire for the goodness of their hearts, their desire to contribute and their willingness to go out of their way to help others, without asking for special thanks.

We call such people angels.

When we got Hemto-Oncology department in Ichilov Hospital, "Dana"

We have met so many good people far beyond the official role.

We would like to name some of them with their extraodinary attitude to patients and families: Dr. Rina Dvir oncology , Ely Ben-Zvi social worker , Vered Mosac the psychologist, Nursery: Boaz , Naama , Diana , Avital , Odelia , Marcella, Aviva, Jawad, Wisam and Mohammed are undoubtedly a small fraction of all the names all that supported us and we are so appreciate them.

The amazing girls doing their National Service: Daphna, Renana, Rony, Ortal , and Abigail .

Tal mother of "Hoppy"  and Tal the instructor of paper crafts.

They will always be with us. They did not spare us a hug, encouragement and eternal love.

I can not describe the love and devotion of the medical staff in the Hemato-Oncolgy Department in "Dana" Hospital.

We know that often voiced criticism of the medical staff. However, the oncology department was totally different. We never felt that there was anything that had been withheld from us or Tommy, we always felt like the staff was doing everything to help heal our son and to ensure he got the best care possible. It is true, you can not always succeed, but we are confident that with such treatment, and that quality of care, one can overcome the disease .

You could say that there are good people in the world but alot of them are in "Dana " Oncology department.

 

Yuval Shem-Tov a famous Israeli actor  known as " Yuval the confused " and Tali Oren" Shoshana from Kofico"(An Israeli comedy TV show)  were some of the stars who visited and delighted the kids out of kindness and non-profit or advertising. Tommy and other children in the department were very happy to see them.

We also want to express our deepest appreciation and love to Rabbi Eidels and his devoted assistant Hana who encourage us in the darkest moment and give us hope.

We always remember Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Mrs. Sarah Netanyahu, who organized and attended an event for cancer patients with the "barca" (Barcelona) football team. Concern and empathy for the sick childrens around them has left no room for cynicism. They are human warm and charming.

Tommy was the smaller of the participants gained from them a lot of warm and love.

They made ​​sure to protect him: Mrs. Netanyahu would go after Tommy to make sure that he did't wont get hurt by a stray ball or by the hustle.

Mr. Netanyahu was careful to look after him while filming as if Tommy is shared as a family.

Prime Minister and Mrs. Netanyahu did not forgot to track the health status of Tommy. When they learned that Tommy has passed away they called us several times to speak with us and send their condolences.
